Jack Brudos is a theatre artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. Jack fell in love with theatre at the age of 5. While his family lived in London, they made frequent trips to the West End and Shakespeare’s globe, experiences that would inform the trajectory of Jack’s life. Back in the states, Jack was influenced by comedians like Jack Black and film franchises like Star Wars. Jack attended Sacred Heart Preparatory and was lucky enough to have a fantastic drama teacher, Francine Torres, who kindled his creative spirit. At the end of high school, Jack had the opportunity to train at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, working with professional actors on how to process and perform a Shakespeare piece. At Baldwin Wallace, Jack tackled roles like Troilus in Troilus and Cressida, Louis in Angels in America, and St. Matthew/Caiaphas the Elder in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. Jack was also the co-leader of the campus improv troupe, Faces for Radio. Offstage, Jack is a “himself of all trades”: he enjoys longboarding, running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns with friends, recording radio dramas, coding, reading, jamming with friends, listening to podcasts, watching cult comedy movies, and baking.
